Logbook
My logbook is my most important tool. I use it to unlock creativity by recording my brainstorms, mind-maps, and bug lists. I visually work through solutions to various design problems, and sketch my ideas.
The picture below captures an important concept: if you want a good idea, start out with many ideas. Withhold judgement until the end - this is the stage for quantity, not quality. The way the brain works, “bad” ideas can often spark good ideas.
